I've been hiking a lot lately and as I got to the top I realized I wanted to see the town below. Didn't want to spend too much, only had the option of a small portable zoom. These binoculars had decent reviews and the price was right, so I took the plunge. Very good value for money! Each eyepiece is adjustable, which you won't appreciate until one of your contact lenses gets too dry and pops out. You can close and adjust each eye until you have perfect vision in both, then adjust the focus from above for the entire subject and voila! Clear and sharp images, close but not too close. I dropped them on the trail as soon as I got them out of my backpack and they're still fine, so I think the production is solid. Five stars, I would buy again
