I took this to plug into one of my laptops; I needed more space to play. Installation on my laptop was easy; It's a single-sided drive, so it fits in any laptop. This is the default size of 2280, which is important as many devices don't have posts set for sizes below 2280. The actual controller is a 2263XT, which is a dramless controller. So it's a scam for the end user and the controller is hidden under a sticker. Overall performance is "good" but this is a frameless drive so doesn't compare well to other offerings on the market. However, the capacity is real and the performance is what you should expect from a 2263XT-based SSD.
