I was recommended this brush because my ends are dry and my scalp is oily. It was told to me by a professional that before washing my hair I should brush my hair with a boars hair brush to spread the sebum to my ends, then wash my scalp only and condition my ends. I've been doing this for few weeks and I have to say the results are pretty amazing. My ends feel much softer and heavier and the top has more volume. I don't have as much frizz and I can go four days not washing my hair. It even feels like I could go longer, but I don't want to risk looking like a grease ball. This is compared to the normal two or three days before I started this routine. I do not use this brush for styling because it is not effective for that. I only use it when I notice my scalp is oily but my ends are still dry.
