I bought these water shoes for my recent trip to Hawaii. I have a friend who stepped on a sea urchin while snorkeling in Hawaii and I didn't want to risk it so I needed a hard soled water boot. I wasn't sure what size to order as I'm a 6 1/2 and shoes don't come in half sizes. Based on other reviews I read they run a bit big so I ordered a size 6. They fit perfectly. I have fairly wide feet and they were wide enough to accommodate this. I've worn them for several hours with no problems. They have an easily adjustable drawstring at the back so you can slip them on and off and then tighten them to stay secure. These water shoes appear to be very well made. The rigid sole protected my feet when walking on rocky beaches and hot sand, but they were light enough to swim and snorkel in. They were very comfortable to walk in. stuck in the back of my ankle which was annoying. But I don't think it's the shoes. Sand gets into everything. I love their variety of colors. I have fuchsia. You look adorable. ;-) My husband got the blue one. He is also very happy with his!
