As much as I want to give this wig a full 5-star rating, the majority of the points are lost with the overall smell of the wig.Though I question how authentic this wig is as far as its "human hair" claims go, I will admit, this wig is very soft. I do think there are some synthetic fibers/hairs woven in for added thickness, but alas, this is just my assumption. It has great slip when washed and seems to style well. However, as, I noted earlier, no matter how often I wash this product, whatever chemicals used to make/bind the wig still linger. Though the scent is not something that is egregious to the point that it is nauseating, it is still very noticeable while wearing. ** I will note, after about 3 initial washes (straight out of the package) the overall scent did diminish some, but not nearly enough. ** I do not particularly care for the scent. However, I wanted to save a bit so I went with this company (via Walmart) due to the majority of its great reviews. Sadly, because of the overall scent, I probably will not wear it as often as I'd like.I will more than likely be going with a different company (some of the more pricey ones as I have peers that own their products and can attest to very little to no scent issues), should I choose to buy another headband wig in the future.
