In most cases it is not the antenna that gives you any channels but your location and proximity, direct visibility of station antennas. If you have a hill between you and the antenna, the HD will not reach you from this station, maybe 5 miles away. If you don't have a hill in your way, you should be able to walk the full distance listed. It's not just this antenna, it's all of them. I was very disappointed that I claimed a signal from every direction, hence the main purpose of the purchase because I thought that in a circular design, omnidirectional, it will receive all the stations that I have. with the previous direct antenna i didn't need to position it and maybe i could even keep it at home and not climb to the top to install it. This is a mistake, the position, direction and angle of this antenna, all this even affected the main channels, which we can easily get from any of the advertised antennas. does not work either. kept it with a good direction to the antennas in many places, no matter which way the circle was pointing, or you had some or not, or some extra stiffer channels. I've come to the conclusion that just get the antenna that's cheapest and pointing in the direction of the TV stations, they're just as good as all the expensive false advertising and fancy looks. Can't give an 1 because it worked, just not as advertised but none of them work, this is my third try this time.
