This radio is not very big. For this reason I bought the product. I needed a radio that wouldn't take up much space. I use the product without batteries. I used a USB charging cable to power the radio. The reception is quite good. I initially had a problem with static. However, I had a radio above the mini fridge. He must have gotten some kind of interference from the fridge. When I moved it to another location, I no longer had static electricity. Headphones are average. Nothing special. I use the speaker in the radio, which is sufficient. It took some time to get used to the controls. The antenna helps with range. Local AM/FM stations are ok. I like digital controls. Makes setup a little easier. I think it's worth the price.
