Review on Sony CMT-LX20i Micro Hi-Fi Shelf System: Top Features and Specifications (Discontinued by Manufacturer) by Jaime Thomas

Sloppy sound on home audio system

When I saw this product and read the reviews I thought I would take a chance and buy it. Although he plays good music, he's terrible when he hits the bass notes. When I started listening, I was satisfied to a certain extent. I listen to my music loud (I like Beethoven's boom boom) and I don't turn it up loud. To be honest I should have known it was advertised as a shelf but I expected it to meet my needs. If I bring it close enough to me (I have it on a caster table) I get closer to the volume I want. After listening to it for a while I heard a "clunk" and the longer I listened the more I heard "clunk" which as I mentioned are bass notes. Price wasn't an issue, but I always hear you get what you pay for. I contacted Sony for the model number of the product and they were happy enough to give me their explanation that I will give them a call. again and see if I can return it to an authorized Sony dealer. I have a habit of not opening my packages right away. I think it has something to do with Christmas. Revain has a strict 30 day return policy, so when I realized it was too late, it was too late. I also didn't want to go through the hassle of repackaging a product of this size, so I threw the box away.
