The brightness on them is what the true definition of an LED should indicate. They were difficult to fit into the case due to the lack of wiring, but that's subjective for my car. I just installed them in my taillights and surprisingly didn't need any transistors. These are Scion FR-S 1 series bare bulbs only. Great product.
