The kit works perfectly, it is recommended to have two people to assemble the hinges.
The kit works great, I recommend getting a friend to help you attach the hinges the way I did as you have to put a lot of pressure on them. That made the work a lot easier. Once the metal was attached the rest of the job was easy. The replacement adhesive is also very easy to attach.
