The latter lasted several decades. Worth the price
I like the small drain area. I use it to drain the fat from the meat into a container to dispose of later when it's cooled. I had one for about 20 years and lost it when I moved. I'm so glad I was able to find another one and it matches my new color scheme in my kitchen.
