I love freshly ground pepper and have tried several pepper mills. So far this is the best I've ever used. When I bought the OXO Good Grips coffee grinder I thought it would be good, but not that good. The OXO started out working fine, but after a short time the finest setting was producing grains so coarse it looked like a medium grind. I sent it back and OXO exchanged it, but the same thing happened shortly after the exchange. The Peugeot has a fantastically smooth, sleek look and appears to be very well built. I'm very happy with it so far. I never thought I'd spend $50 on a pepper grinder, but I'm glad I did.
