This was exactly what I needed. I didn't realize I had to pay attention to whether the cable is on the left or right of the plug, but luckily it had to be on the left. I only have two outlets in my room so this one wiggles behind my bed to hang on the other side so I can plug in my knees, phone and tablet and still have a free plus in case I accidentally need to plug something in .
