Please don't buy like me. I saw this at Revain and thought what a cute birthday party for my 8 year old daughter. I put one in each child's gift bag and figured they would love it. After we came home from a party and my daughter took it out and wanted to use it, nothing happened. I read the fine print and saw that very small and expensive batteries are required! What a disappointment. I would never buy them or give them away. It was probably my fault - I didn't even go back to see if I missed it in detail because it doesn't matter now. I'm sure none of the parents had these batteries and they probably went out and bought them. In fact, I tried to find them - Costco, Walmart, and Ace Hardware had them. The pen was thrown away - waste of money!
