Update 09/17/21 - Seller contacted me and offered replacement or refund. After trying to use it a few times I asked for a refund. It was processed quickly and I received an email that my account was credited. I'm changing my rating to 5 stars because of the prompt response from the seller. Update: 9/11/21 - My adapter stopped working when I tried to move a large photo file. I downgraded the rating to 2 stars because the adapter worked initially but only moved a few photos during the test period. I looked at several USB camera adapters and settled on this one. "Apple Certified" costs twice as much. The instructions were easy to follow, but I found that my iPad was set to use HEIC Vice JPG for my photos. (Go to settings to change iPad/iPhone camera to JPG). When I tried to open photos on my windows laptop, they wouldn't open. However, once I converted them to JPG (many free conversion apps, although MS will try to charge you $0.99 on their app store) the photos opened great. This adapter saves me money by not having to buy Apple storage for my photos. I just transfer them from the iPad to the laptop.
