I bought these curtains after going through a few purchases. These are for a large window in our recreational/dog area of the house. White goes with the theme so of course I needed to wash eventually since the dogs look under the window. I pretreated by scrubbing by hand in the sink and was excited because the dirt seemed to come right off immediately. After running through the washer, the dirt was removed from the exterior cloth, but some how became trapped in between the fabrics. I ran through the washer a few times to see if it could help, but the dirt just shifts. Without natural light it's barely noticeable, but it is for a window, so when the natural light shines through it looks like Bobby Boucher's bed sheets :(. If anyone knows a solution to this, I'm all ears. These are great otherwise.
