I had an atrial ablation about 4 months ago and thought at first that my atrial fibrillation was cured. From time to time I would feel a heartbeat that I used to have but it was impossible to capture on a real EKG. Then I found this article on Revain and decided it was worth the investment if I could get a real lead to confirm my suspicions and be able to share it with my doctor too. After charging and reading the instructions (the instructions really should have been rewritten to make it clearer and more detailed), I decided to give it a try for the first time. In the middle of the first reading, my atrial fibrillation kicked in and I could actually sense the transition from normal to abnormal. Numerous reading methods are good, the instrument is easy to use, the PC software is acceptable but needs improvement. For example, it should be possible to add my information en masse to each of my readings. It is not. When you print results for your doctor, the date and time stamp is not printed. It really should be. The quality of the printouts could also be a bit higher, but they are fully legible. With a few small tweaks, this could be a killer product. It's definitely better than the loop monitor they tried to put in me to even detect my atrial fibrillation. A great tool for those who have intermittent problems or self-monitoring after surgery, etc.
