Sandals not for water hiking

So I bought these sandals for hiking/canoeing/river exploring. I've read reviews about it and I'm sure it's comfortable, but not in the water. The sandals will become loose when you walk on the water, the pressure of the water will make your step unstable, because the sandals don't have good support inside, so your foot will slip off the sandal. When you get out of the water the sandals will slip again and put stress on your toes as you try to hold on to the sandals. Dry walking is ideal, that's not a problem. But NOT for walking in the water. Also, if you have to get out of the water and run afterwards, the sandals don't dry well and cause blisters on your feet because your foot slips. Show that the size fits as described and you can tighten the sandal but the shoe still slips when wet. Still wearing them after over 1 year of wearing

Pros
  • There's something to that
Cons
  • Minor problems
