I used this stapler/welder to repair some ATV plastic parts and a cracked hood on my truck. The welder worked great. After installing the brackets I used a welder to fill the crack and then sanded it down. Easy to use and the temperature control was accurate. The ATV's painted plastic had been repainted and it was hard to tell where the repair was. For maximum strength, you must weld both sides after tacking. Great repair tool. highlighted.
