I have been a regular Schick Quattro razor user for quite some time. My old razor handle was 10, maybe 15 years old. It was metal, not plastic, very pretty, durable, and solid. I recently bought this razor for my daughters so we can all share a spare razor. I lost my favorite shaving handle while on vacation this summer, so I had to buy a new one as well. It's definitely cheap and not as durable or pretty as my old one. I've had it for less than 2 months and it's basically unusable because it no longer holds razor cartridges - I'll use it and the razor head just falls on the floor in the shower. What a waste of money.
