Review on Wireless headphones Sony WH-1000XM4, silver by Adam Mielczarek ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

No minuses as such, comfortable to use.

A couple of days with unaccustomed Shumka felt a little heavy, but now it's already difficult without it. Put 4, not 5 because of the unpleasant squeak. It is clear that this is not the price segment where you expect a completely flawless assembly, and it’s not a fact that everyone has it, and not just me, but as it is. I’ll hope that it will rub in, well, or I’ll figure out what exactly is rubbing there and try to make some kind of insert from a thin Teflon sheet.

Pros
  • The first headphones with noise reduction, so I can’t compare somehow, I say it as it is and as I see it - it works and works well. On the street, extraneous noise is almost inaudible (except for - see the shortcomings). Nice app, easy setup. If it’s not clear manually on YouTube, there are detailed videos, so you won’t get lost. Confident sound, bass could be a little more powerful, but this is probably due to the fact that for the previous 4 years I had Sony Extra Bass MDR-XB950AP and apparently got used to a certain level. Ready does not press, the ears do not hurt, the ear pads are soft and comfortable. I don’t do sports in them, so I can’t suggest anything here, but in everyday life - when bending over or lying down, they don’t fall off the head or fly off. The battery with equalizer settings and Shumkov keeps feeling like 12 hours, which in principle is very good. A convenient case allows you not to worry about the headphones in your backpack. On the previous ears, the places where the speakers were attached to the crossbar were broken.
Cons
  • Of the shortcomings, I can note the creaking in the left ear. I must say right away that it is NOT always heard, but when walking, when the track switches, or just at a quiet moment, you can hear it, and the ear inadvertently clings to this sound, and continues to hear it for some more time. There is no ATX codec, so be careful where you plan to use it.
