Excellent lightweight mouse

This is the general build quality of the mouse and the reviews I found on YT on this mouse. I don't have any rattles in my version of the mouse as shown in some YT video reviews. I can press the side button if I press the side shell very hard, this was not the case in-game. I don't have much wobbling of the front left and right buttons, this seems to have been corrected by CM compared to previous models. The mouse cable feels and looks like a shoelace, very light. Download the software from the CM website to get the firmware update and change the mouse settings. This is the CM mouse software used to configure the mouse. You can change the mouse click frequency in the CM software between 125 Hz, 250 Hz, 500 Hz and 1000 Hz (default). You can disable DPI profiles by clicking the purple box next to a profile to disable the active profile. The button response time can't go below 4ms, it's not the best, but I don't notice it in game compared to my G Pro. The DPI range is from 200 to 32,000 and the increment is 100 DPI. The PixArt PMW3389 sensor should be able to step 50 DPI, but this is not currently built into the CM software, so you can only step 100 DPI. You can't currently set anything like 450 DPI. You can setup up to 5 different profiles for different games or different users on the same computer in the software instead of using the DPI switcher. You can turn off the X-axis and Y-axis and set them to different DPI levels by clicking the chin icon between the two settings. This is probably only useful for those playing in the stretched 4:3 format so they can lower the x-axis to actually match the game's y-axis. I have several gaming mice that are smaller. Logitech G Pro (wired), Logitech G303 (discontinued) and BenQ Zowie S2 and now I also have a CoolerMaster MM710 to add to my collection and I will be using two of these mice to match the size and shape of the CM MM710 for these Compare mice that happen to have used or own a G Pro (wired), G305 (wireless version of the wired G Pro), or BenQ Zowie S2. The shape of the CM MM710 falls squarely between the G Pro (wired) and the Zovi S2 in my opinion. See attached photos for a visual reference. Pictured from left to right G Pro (wired), CM MM710, BenQ Zowie S2. The width of the MM710 is a hair's breadth wider than the G Pro (wired) and slightly narrower than the Zowie S2. The build height of the MM710 is a hair's breadth higher than the G Pro (wired) and slightly lower than the Zowie S2. The MM710 is basically the same length as the G Pro (wired) and shorter than the Zowie S2. With a small cable, my CM MM710 weighs 55.6g, my BenQ Zowie s2 weighs 84.1g and my Logitech G Pro (wired) weighs 85.0g. I personally like the shape of the CM MM710 much better than the BenQ Zowie. S2 and GPro. It's perfect for my hybrid grip and it only took me a few games to get used to the lighter weight at the same sensitivity I normally play. The CM MM710 has become my go-to mouse over the G Pro (wired).
