This mic is great for the price. I teach fitness classes and own a $300 Samson Airline jet with a headphone transmitter. In some ways this mic is better! A very small, battery-powered receiver connects directly to the microphone of the amplification system. You don't have to have a bulky microphone receiver that requires its own power supply. The sound quality is good. On the other hand, the headset transmitter is a bit too big. Since it doesn't require disposable batteries, you should also remember to turn it off and leave it charged. But overall, with less than a month of use, I think it's incredible value! The time will show. January 2021: I am still very happy with this microphone. Now I use it to teach billiards lessons in Florida. The participants say that they can hear me well. Due to the pandemic and the studio being shut down, I estimate I've been using this mic 3 times a week for about 8 months now and it's still working!
