Works as advertised. A laptop with a 3rd generation Intel i5 processor, password 4000, reads over 700 Mbit/s and writes about half that. This compares well to Anker's single-port model. Notebook with AMD A6-1450, password 1400, maximum read speed almost 300Mbps. Moral: Don't expect great results from a low-powered computer. I bought it on eBay for about 1/2 the price here. A very lucky find. I plan to experiment with this using Hyper-V and router software. Most router software does not support USB 3.0 network adapters. Hyper-V may provide a workaround that allows me to use it as an internal router for a specific secure subnet. I downloaded the latest drivers from Mfgr.
