If you like other people who are looking for a carbon fiber helmet to save weight then the LS2 Challenger Carbon GT helmets are not the best option. This helmet looks beautiful. The one I received was damaged, the touchpad was absent meaning it was faulty but what put me off was the weight, when I received it I noticed that it was too heavy and also too big at all Pages was, and everyone knows that the LS2 used to ring small, like they put on an XXL shell with an L-size label. Well I put it on the scale and it weighs 1540g instead of 1290g for the large size, the average weight is 1272g so I went back the same day I received it and to my even greater surprise I also received the Scorpion EXO Tech Carbon, a modular helmet. the same size L weighing 1520. Then I went to the bike dealership and put a non-carbon LS2 Challenger F on the scales weighing 1520. How could that be possible. The main reason for using carbon material is to reduce weight.
