I was a skeptic, but no more. I'm 64 years old and I live in a bone-dry southwestern desert. Since I moved here 3 years ago, my skin has been getting drier, especially around my mouth and nose. I've never been dry, but I think it's due to the environment AND hormonal changes. I have been using Clinique skin care products all my life and have had good results. I am sensitive to fragrances and many skin products. I've been using Sonicare once or twice a week for 13 years. I consulted in a dermatological practice and did dermaplaning. They recommended Elta MD Hydrating Moisturizer, which is an oil-based product that I don't like (feels greasy). Some have helped but not solved the problem. I also started using a silk pillowcase since I sleep on my side. I started looking for self help products and found this oil. It lasted about 3-4 weeks with continuous use morning and night. What an amazing twist. I still apply Clinique Moisture Surge to freshly washed skin and then apply rosehip oil. I avoid the eyes but apply it all over and on the neck. Usually when I try a new product my eyes react and I get stuffy. not this stuff. I had NO reaction to the product or the smell which in itself is a miracle. The scent is very light and vanishes immediately. Sometimes I apply more around the nose and mouth. Since using this product I have not had a single breakout like other products including Elta MD. Compared to other skin care products, rosehip oil ranks high. My only negative comment is about the marigold yellow color and I can tell when I first applied it but it seems to fade once it has absorbed. I highly recommend!
