The material is comfortable and even softer after washing, but they are short! They are probably wide enough for a size 7, but the length is a size 5 at best. I photographed them for comparison with a size 5 Cat & Jack pant, and the size 5 pant is actually longer than the size 7 pant ( in my photo) Cat & Jack sweatpants above and Splendid sweatpants below). So my 5 year old who goes to a size 6-7 wears these now before they get too short for him but they are still too big for him and since the drawstring doesn't really work they fall ALL off him. TIME. He loves them because they are so soft, but he can only wear them at home to play.
