At first I couldn't get reliable sound output. At the time of review, it works fine. My Notes.1. Some audio quality issues with Sony LDAC.2 Bluetooth device. The USB-C cable charges only. It would be great if it could be used as a sound processor preamp from a computer. Hopefully the software will be available for USB connected audio processing applications in the future. I was pleased with the specifications of the DAC. Tried to return for a refund. I currently have it. I hope that software updates can improve the audio and application quality of this device. The sound is much better through headphones connected directly to the device. As a preamp, it doesn't cut it. Not sure by design. I'll experiment with the preamp output gain when I have time, if possible.
