Looks nice on the countertop but my manual wine opener is better

Electric wine opener shopping review, one of which was Rabbit. Even though I have a great manual wine corkscrew with push handles, I don't keep a lot of kitchen gadgets. And I know Rabbit is a good brand. But something is wrong with this product. Where to start: 1. Instructions, or rather, missing instructions. I don't need a book on how to operate this thing, but it wasn't entirely clear how to put the batteries in. And then there is still no clear instruction on how to use the foil cutter or the actual bottle opener correctly. I've never used a foil cutter or an electric bottle opener so it would be nice if this information was presented clearly. Foil cutter For lack of instructions I had to tinker and finally figure out how to get this thing working. Compared to a real bottle opener, the foil opener really did the job the brand claimed. Wine Opener Yes, the real reason you are buying this item is not the foil cutter but the wine opener itself. The instructions are so abysmal that it is not clear how to work with them. Through trial and error, I realized I had to do more than just "just" put this opener on top of the bottle and press the "down" button. You have to press the down button to make the corkscrew do more than just chew on the top of the cork. But as a side note, there aren't any instructions clearly stating how these buttons work, or whether the corkscrew lowers and rises automatically. After three attempts I had a slightly crumbled cork that was still half stuck in the neck of the bottle. I ended up having to finish the job with my trusty manual corkscrew to get the rest of the cork out of the bottle. The idea here would be great, but the thing is unreliable and the almost non-existent instructions make things difficult. Work. I wouldn't gift this to anyone, especially knowing they drink a lot of wine.
