Review on 🎢 Blue Alilo Smarty Bunny Shake & Tell Musical Toy Rattle for Newborns and Infants - Soother with Lullaby Song Story, Music Player & Games by Julian Banks

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The perfect rattle for all abilities of babies and children.

This is such a cool rattle. I have a 3 year old special needs son who has vision and hearing problems. I'm always looking for toys that are easy for him to hold, play music, and light up. I found a few with these requirements but they only played one song at a time and annoyed me and everyone around me. They may also not be ideal for a child to put parts in their mouths. This smart rattle was amazing and ticked all of these boxes. I bought this on a whim when there were no reviews and I promised myself I would come back and check it out so I can tell others how great it is. Here are my favorite parts: It has many different sounds with adjustable volumes. You can skip different sounds or switch to another category: 1. classical music 2. children's stories 3. random sounds when moving rattles - train, bell, cat, dog, etc. (my son loves this mode the most) . 4. Funny children's songs like "Itsy Bitsy Spider" and "Wheels on the Bus". The adjustable volume control is very convenient. My son needs it a little louder due to his hearing loss, but we can turn the volume down if we are in a closed or public place. - Long life battery. It comes with a cable that can be plugged into any USB charger. It also includes a Kindle charging cable. If I used it for several hours a day, I only had to charge it once a week on average. - Soft silicone coating and ears that light up are soft and can be chewed on - The rattle is lightweight so it can be easily held by young children or children with special needs like my son. As for the cons, I don't have much of a problem with it at all. We've been using it almost daily for almost 4 months and haven't had any problems with it. I read that another reviewer mentioned that it seems cheap. I beg to differ. It does what it's supposed to and has lots of different modes for one handy little rattle. I am also sure that as your child gets older and starts banging the rattle against hard objects it will malfunction and the glass on the lower chamber may break. Although our rattle has fallen on the ground many times and even out of the car onto the sidewalk, there have been no problems so far.

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • A dubious purchase for the elderly
