SETTING 1 - Daylight White with Green LEDs. SETUP 2 - Night Time - Red and Blue LEDs only. SETUP 3 - "Full Spectrum" white with blue, red and green LEDs. *PROS: ▪︎The ONLY light that fits perfectly in my 40 inch aquarium. ▪︎Half as wide and twice as bright as any other aquarium light. (See fig.) ▪︎The timer turns it on every day for the set time. ▪︎9 dimmer levels. I actually leave it at half brightness (see picture) as the light is so bright! CONS: ▪︎Slightly more expensive than other brands do with my other tanks. (Probably good, LOL.) ▪︎There is NO BLUE setting on the 42"+ model. Only blue with red LEDs glowing pink (see image). This setting doesn't darken enough for my night time needs. Disappointing though not exact markings, just be careful what type you get. I like to use a colored LED strip under the back of my tank to create a gradient (see pic) and it looks way cooler with the blue overhead light. Well! The above benefits outweigh the disadvantages for me.
