All you have to do is look closely at these things to conclude that someone is trying to HIDE something. Almost every dart from this company is coated with black paint or black sand. I don't think these darts are processed the way high quality darts are processed. These darts look like they were cast and then drilled and cut. I know for a fact that if you put these darts in a drill chuck and turn the drill on, you'll see that they don't spin properly. They swing like they were made to beat eggs! You can get really well made and beautifully crafted darts from Target Darts for about a third of their price. And if you put them in your drill press and turn them on, you'll need to double-check that you've turned them on, because all the other darts I've tested this way spin correctly with no hesitation. Bottelsen darts are cheating.
