Shorts 1909 run small, I would have bought a size larger. It's comfortable, but the inner drawstring could use at least 4 inches more. This is a very thin material consisting of 95% polyester and 5% spandex. If you hold the shorts up to a light source, you can easily see through them. The stretch is minimal, but still very comfortable. The reflective markings on the sides are great, very reflective! I would recommend her based on my first impression. Made in China, I'm not keen on Chinese products but I'll see how it goes.
