As soon as I opened the packaging I was hit by the strongest odor of stale cigarette smoke I have ever experienced. In fact, the clear zip sleeve it arrived in it sat on my counter for just a couple minutes before my whole kitchen smelled like it!The cardigan itself is a great design and I really like the feel of the fabric for a synthetic. Perfect mid weight.But the smell! And to top it off this is hand wash lay flat to dry only. I thought it was cute enough and at a decent price point so I've washed it and the smell did mostly go away. But now it's lost the fresh, "new" crisp look to it. Kind of bummed.
