The quality of the Red line products has dropped

First of all I know the Gedore Red Economy line. In general, all mechanical tools, with the exception of torque wrenches and ratchets, correspond visually and functionally to the traditional premium Gedore (the blue line, as some call it). However, this combination wrench set is definitely inferior compared to the previously purchased red wrenches. About half of the keys have visible surface porosity, some of the key beams are not straight, forged inclusions and surface finish vary quite a bit within the set. And some stains. It almost looks like castings! Also, they are made in India. All other Red products carry the Taiwanese COO label. Perhaps Gedore used the resources to cut costs. Funny, just like in the 80's, Gedore has an inexpensive line of wrenches that are made in India. There is nothing wrong with India, but the change in quality corresponds to the shift from Taiwan to India. Overall, they still offer excellent value for money. But the quality is definitely not on par with other Red products we own.
