The shampoo has a thick and translucent consistency - I bought this formula in the smaller Nexxus size and I remember it was slightly different, the smaller size was more runny Consistency and more fizzy This shampoo does a really great job of removing oil/product build up on the scalp leaving hair fresh and soft. I have thick fine straight hair and my boyfriend has thick coarse wavy hair and they both use Nexus Keraphix - Purple Bottle - for aftercare and wow it's a great combo! I generally recommend Nexus products.
