I have a 2012 Ford Fusion and the driver's door latch is broken. The local auto parts store charged $60 for the same part and it was an affordable alternative. The installation took about an hour, the door leaf took longer than the latch. Delivery was fast and on time. The best part is that I don't have to lower the window to open the door from the outside like I did when the factory latch broke. Let's hope the lifespan is as good as the shipping etc. There are good DIY videos on YouTube showing how to do repairs.
