The handle is comfortable to hold, very ergonomic. It has a rounded body with a flat side where the keys are located, allowing it to rest easily on a tabletop or tablet surface without rolling. The pre-installed tip is a Microsoft OEM tip that comes with two other tips of different durometers. The connection to the Surface Pro is fast. It has an internal battery that lasts quite a long time and has an automatic sleep mode if you don't use it for a certain period of time. I topped it up with the required amount and it will last for a while, I haven't used it for about a month and will come back to it and it's still alive and ready to use. My issue with the pen I received is ease of use. When it works, it works great, but most of the time it doesn't want to work properly, even with palm distraction or wearing antifouling gloves. When I use it to take notes I think you can call it tremors, not sure but you can't write all the time without jumping around and pressing another part of the screen and trying to get the windows Ink or to open the on-screen keyboard. Using drawing apps with this pen is a nightmare. You can't draw without jumping as he draws lines up and down the screen, rotates the canvas, etc. It seems like there are multiple touch points on the screen, I don't know what to call it. I tried this on a 3D drawing and it works as it's supposed to. I've attached a video showing what I have in mind as I write. I also don't press any of the buttons on the side, I also restarted my surface to see that it was just a tablet, but the stylus turned out to be working and not working properly. I also changed the pin to see if there is a difference, but no. I was testing a friend's new Surface Pro and it makes the same up/down zig zag movements, accidentally showing Windows ink. I have two different pens on hand and both of those pens don't shake or jump when used, so it's not my surface. If you want to use different pens, the UOGIC stylus must be far away or in sleep mode at the same time in order to reconnect other pens. The UOGIC ink, at least mine, won't switch. until he falls asleep, which doesn't take long if you leave him for a few minutes, but if you're in a hurry it will feel like ages before you can use another pen. To clarify, I mainly use it on Surface Pro 3. I tested it on Surface Pro 6 and 7 but the UOGIC pen I got did the same thing with jumps etc on the new generation of Surface Pros. I initially gave the pen 2 stars because it was awkward to use, but I changed it to 3 stars because when it works, it works fine until you fall asleep and works best with 3D drawing, but not an ideal program for this is constant use. The pen feels very good, it has a good premium feel and the battery is good and stays charged for a decent amount of time even when not in use. It uses a standard USB for charging, which you can charge for an hour and you'll be fine.
