Review on 🌿 PurCool 61044 Green Mini Strip Condensate Pan Treatment by Nu-Calgon by Janet Rivera

Packaging says it will last 4-6 months on a 5 ton system. Perhaps this is for a system in a not very humid climate with good condensate loading in the colder months. I'm in Texas where the summer dew point ranges from the high 60's to the low 70's and the results have been mixed. I have several solid color setups so I cut the strip into quarters. Some devices produce more condensate than others, but some of the results after 4 months of use were as follows: Device #1 - part of the strip remained; Device No. 2 - the strip is completely dissolved; Device #3 - The strip has dissolved and the drain pan has overflowed. The strip probably dissolved long before that. This is a device that usually drains a large amount of water in the summer. I think my new routine will be to check every 3 months that the streak is still there and maybe let a quarter cup of vinegar through. simultaneously.
