I got this working because I needed something to hold my phone and fuel on long trips. It definitely has room for my Pixel phone (comparable in size to a standard iPhone), but it doesn't necessarily fit in easily. You have to get used to the thin pleated design of the belt bags. And it's definitely not where I can just slide it in and out with one hand. But the same thinness that makes the phone a bit awkward to store makes it comfortable and smooth overall, and I've found it to work really well for holding my gels and gummies. I wore it for the first 2+ hours of running, it rained heavily and nothing got wet so it's definitely waterproof. Overall I like it a lot for the price.
