With the frame in place, cut a 1/2" wide slit to allow the old fluff (what's left of it) to come out. The old fluffy ones had an aluminum backing. I had to pull a little (with pliers) , twist, pull more, twist. The new flexible-backed fuzzy inserts vertically every 84". You must feed the fuzzy in the opposite direction for the channel that remains on the short side of the slot cut for access. Huge improvement!
