Okay, I didn't set it up, I don't have an SWR meter. I just hooked it up to a portable CB and made the same 3 state trip as I did a month ago. When I used the included whip antenna on a portable device, I never heard a single person during the trip. I was driving on I-95 and other major freeways. A month later I made the same trip, the same route, with the same car radio in the same place, but with this antenna. I actually heard people, avoided two accidents and took a detour for gossip. By the way, I always have two navigation apps running on long journeys. Both told me about the backups, but the CBA had alternative routes.
