Bought a cover for winter storage in the garage first. Likewise, my biggest concern was the case, which actually fits the bike (Honda ST1300 with factory rack/top case). However, the cover is perfect for the bike, covers everything completely. A nice feature. There is a label on the back of the cap to identify which end goes to the back of the bike. While it doesn't sound like much, trying to align the case yourself can be challenging, and if you're trying to set the case up in the wind, that's a huge benefit. The bottom half of the shoe is protected by a heat-resistant lining and the opening is elasticated to attach it to the bottom of the bike. Ultimately, this is a well-made case that's big enough to fit a full-load large sport-touring bike. and windshield. I will update the review with more information if I need to use a cover in inclement weather in the future.
