I ordered these because I just bought very expensive queen size pure goose down pillows. My old king-size pillowcases were too tight on the pillows, condensing the fluffiness of the goose down. I figured this might work because it says the dimensions are 20" x 32", which should give my 20" x 30" pillows some room. However, what they do is the first time I've seen pillow protectors with a zipper on the long end rather than the short end. In addition, the zip is in the middle of the long side and is about half as long as the protector! Talk about HARD to put the pillow in! You have to crumple the pillow almost into a ball to fit it in the cover and then try to flatten it out inside. Well it's a joke! Trying to save money for flashes? I can't think of any other reason why a manufacturer wouldn't just add a full zip down the short side like everyone else is doing! To top it off, if you pull the zipper all the way up, you'll have a balloon effect! They claim they breathe, but that's not true at all. They are waterproof, have a very thick rubberized material inside and sleep very hot! Anything else they claim about breathability is an outright lie! They are too thick for treads, especially on high loft cushions. If your pillows are old and flat, you may want them to be thicker. I'm returning all 4 I bought. Hot sleep and zipper issues are non-negotiable for me. I will look for different ones. I don't really care about the price but they should meet my needs and this one doesn't.
