I have to say I am disappointed with the size of this tree. I'm usually very attentive to detail when choosing a size, but I think I was so excited to get a new tree for my new kittens. My sister gave me two 8 month old kittens, as I hope you can see in the video the cat barely fits. Now for the good! The quality is excellent, the wood is quite thick and the finishes are so soft and fluffy. Overall it was pretty easy to put together. I found a mistake I made, but that didn't affect the strength in general. The top of the cat's apartment was supposed to have a post in the far right corner, but there was a hole in the cover on the left instead of the right. I've had to use wood as a support to get off the ground a few times and it's never tilted or tipped over. If you have real kittens, this would be great for them! Weight doesn't matter, except for the basket, which doesn't feel strong at all, but length and height certainly does. My kids will outgrow this in a few months.
