Well it's been said but I'll say it again Ford should include them considering how expensive the new Super Duty is. I don't think so because they can't vouch for the durability of these parts. I asked a question here if they are metal. Regarding this review, 4 out of 4 responded that they are made of metal. Well I got them from Revain yesterday and they just don't feel heavy enough to be metal. It's a good looking piece and I love how they hold lightweight things together. However, they are so light that I had to test them to make sure they matched the metal. So I took a sharp knife and cut out the opposite V profile on the edge of one of the boards. I cut a 1/16" V-notch and it was all plastic. So I cut out a 1/4" deep V-notch and good. Nothing but plastic anyway. I've never smashed anything other than plastic into my cuts with a cheap straight razor. So in Test #2 I pressed a large magnet against the tip. And to my surprise, the magnet stuck to the tip, albeit very weakly. So either they are made of a mix of metal and plastic. If there is such a thing. (?) Or they have some kind of internal metal base. I'm assuming a 1/16" or 1/4" metal die impregnated with plastic. Bottom line, I paid about $50 for these braces. So when I'm moving friends and tying up furniture, these staples are good. I wanted to tie a motorcycle off-road, but not very well. I like them for the ease of attachment. But not really for anything serious. If I paid 150€ for these spikes I would return them.
