I travel extensively so have tried many different chargers (small, large, more powerful, less powerful, etc.) in search of the best combination of features. So far the best charger for me has been the Ravpower 65W USB-C and USB-A combo. This is the charger for 95% of my needs as it is compact, includes two different types of charging ports (making it universally compatible) and has enough power to meet most of my needs. what would be better How about a device that performs the same, is more compact (although the connectors don't fold and therefore protrude a bit), includes a USB-C charging cable, and is cheaper? That's what you get with the Hapwr charger. It's even better if they work with a 30% discount. Is it a good deal! Don't get me wrong, there are times I need 100W to charge another laptop, but the vast majority of the time using 45W for a USB-C port is enough, which is what I use most . frequently. Dell XPS 9370 and USB-A simultaneously charges my Samsung Note 9 in fast charge mode. When I don't need both ports, USB-A comes in handy to charge other devices like my tablet, my GF's iPhone or my GoPro camera, etc. because it's universally compatible with the charging cable used by most devices. I have a 90w Ravpower version, but it has two USB-C ports, so it's not as universally compatible and it's a lot bigger than my 65w model. I've checked out some of the new 100W compact chargers with both USB-C and USB-A ports, but upon closer inspection I found that some only put out 12W for the USB-A port or don't use USB-A Harbor. Charging standards PD3 or QC3. That means it doesn't charge my phone in fast mode, so it's no good for me. I will search further. Models with 3 65W outlets are also now available and well worth considering. I like the Elecjet best and have a different rating for it. This Hapwr product does everything I need. Time will tell how dependable and dependable it is. Closing the deal for now, HAPWR.UPDATE, after 5 days of sporadic use: I've noticed that at least one of the two devices I've now purchased is having intermittent issues charging my laptop. The cable and charger combination does not work correctly on the same device. Replacing cables does not fix this problem, and replacing chargers does not fix this problem. The other device does not have this problem (at least not yet). I will monitor and test the second device to see if it fails after repeated use. With the second device, I noticed that I got a noticeable spark once when I plugged the device in after a week of not using it (nothing was plugged in except for the charging cable). I finally got a replacement for the broken unit and while the adapter works fine I found the charging cable to be fine for charging a phone but unreliable for charging a laptop. Consequently, I downgraded this unit from 5 to 4 stars due to an accidental failure and an unexpected spark. UPDATE #2: I received a second replacement and it too is having trouble charging my small laptop. That means 3 out of 4 units had problems. My guess is that these devices come with a cable that can't handle the 65W load of the device and therefore won't reliably charge a small laptop. The chargers themselves work reliably when used with a certified PD cable for more power-hungry devices. If you don't mind paying extra for a charging cable that takes the full load from the PD, then these chargers are still a good choice.
