It leaves my skin hydrated and almost moist. My makeup is holding up well. Lately after using this product my chin has been getting a little more pimples but that could be due to hormonal changes. I was also hoping that it would help with the dark spots and discoloration on my face but I haven't seen any improvement in that area in the past few weeks
