Great juicer for beginners

So in fairness I have to say that I'm by no means an expert on juicers or juicers. But about a year and a half ago my wife and I watched the show Fat, Sick and Almost Dead and in it the main character goes on a juice cleanse where he only drinks green juices all day (I can't remember exactly how many days there were). So I finally decided to buy a juicer and give it a try. When I started researching juicers, I found that there is a wide range to choose from and prices range from $30 to $300. Being new to this business and not wanting to spend more than $100 I stumbled across this juicer and so far I am very happy with it. Let's discuss the pros and cons. First the pros. The first thing that comes to mind is the cost. This juicer is very affordable for those looking to get into juicing. After taxes and shipping, it costs $62.69, which is very affordable in the juicing world. Second, ease of use. We tried both fruit and vegetable juices and he chewed, threw in whatever we fed him, from carrots to pears, from apples to blueberries. It also only has 2 settings I and II. Level I is for softer fruits and vegetables, level II is for harder fruits and vegetables. Those juicier gummies threw it all away. Finally clean up. It's very easy to clean. Most parts are dishwasher safe and a cleaning brush is included which is ideal for cleaning the lid. It also has suction cups on the counter so it doesn't slip around the counter or vibrate. Now for the cons. The instructions leave a lot to be desired, but be sure to read them all. The spout that the juice comes out of has to be squeezed in order for the juice to flow properly and we skipped that part of the guide when we first read it. There is no indication in the instructions for use that all parts must be rinsed immediately after use. The juices from anything you cook will turn into glue as it dries, making cleaning into tighter corners more difficult. Also, it would be nice if they included some juicing recipes for beginners.

Pros
  • Feels good
Cons
  • Not the best
