After my old Osterville electric wine opener went out of service when the clear plastic stopper somehow came loose and left a sticky residue, I decided to try this wine opener and was very pleasantly surprised. I've never owned a "wine set," but when I used an electronic corkscrew with its accompanying red-blue light that lights up when you walk in the direction you turn it, I knew I'd be delighted. The steel frame is strong and handles opening a bottle with ease and power. The cutter also does a great job of removing the seal from your wine, the two wine corks have an air pump mechanism that seals your wine to keep your wine fresh, and the pourer does not effectively spill over the rim like it would when pouring straight out of the bottle. The black stand that holds all the items might need a small design update, but anything and everything looks great in a kitchen or dining room display case. Highly recommended for anyone looking to replace their old electronic wine corkscrew or to give a great gift [housewarming or otherwise] to a friend or family member!
